Covent Garden- is a very central in london with charm. We stayed in Covent Garden and by far thought this was the best location to stay in when visiting London. We didn't even feel to need to leave the area because the location has shopping, food, street perfomers/food. Covent Garden is also known for its famous street art and nightllife.

Kensington and Chelsea- has lots of high end shopping here. Mostly celebrities live in this area but you'll also be close to museums.

Kings Cross- Is close to the airport and only good if your flying in and out of the airport.

Notting Hill- Has good shopping and resturants. You'll find a bunch of colorful houses here in this charming area.

Paddington- Its quite and you'll be close to parks and close to Harthhord Airport.

Southbank- Here you'll be walking distance to Big Ben and the London Eye.

How to get around London?

Black Taxis- are very expensive but they get you where you need to be. Just be careful going long distance or rush hour. After 8pm fares raise. You can simplely just hail a black cab in the street.

UberUber is available in London and slightly a little cheaper than the Black taxis! Anytime we needed to take a taxi, we took an Uber or a black taxi to save some extra changes. The only issue we had while using the Uber is that you have to have to be on Wifi for app to work and order a taxi. Normally, we would take a taxi to go out to eat, which was convenient because most resturants have wifi.

When to travel to London

London has 4 seasons so anytime is really good to visit. The high season is normally considered June to Mid-September.

We traveled to London at the end of August and had the perfect weather. It wasn't to hot but not to cold. London is normally cloudly and rainy, so we were lucky for our stay to miss the rain!

Autumn is also a lovely time of year to visit London, as the weather is mild. In the Fall & Winter you'll be able to enjoy a variety of annual events, from the Totally Thames festival to Halloween celebrations and Christmas events.
