The stay at W15?
Living on a beachfront doesn't have to be in your dreams anymore. This relaxing dream of mine came to life at W15 luxury beach boutique. You get the best of both worlds here... pool and beach. If you're anything like my husband, he prefers the pool and I just love the ocean! We were all able to enjoy ourselves in the same vicinity. With the bar/restaurant being located outside you'll be catered to at all times. On the beach, you'll be able to rent boogie boards or a surfboard. Lessons are also available directly on the beach. Looking forward to relaxation? Try yoga on the beach or just simply enjoy sunbathing on a beach cabana.
The guest rooms are spacious and very modern. At your convenience, there is a hidden refrigerator to keep your refreshments cool if needed. Free toiletries are in your bathroom and will be replaced by room service daily. In your room, you have a personal Bluetooth speaker to listen to your own music.
If you're ever looking to leave the hotel to go on a tour or find other food and sightseeing, W15 will make arrangements for you. A line of tuk-tuks wait outside to take you where you need to go.
The W15 staff were friendly and attentive. They made it their goal to make us feel like we were home and every need was met.
W15 welcomes all ages. W15 is very family oriented. One of our favorite entertainment options they offer is playing board games like giant Jenga and tic tack toe with each other.
I recommend W15 for friends and family that want to spend time reconnecting or bonding with their loved ones. W15 allows you to rejuvenate yourself before returning home.
Location?
W15 is located in Matara District, this hotel is 3 mi from Mirissa Fisheries Harbor. You may have a long drive from the airport to W15 but once you're here, there's many activities and things to see in the Matara district. If you prefer public transportation, it is within walking distant. Tuk Tuk are lined up on the local street right outside W15 to take you where you need to be. Everything you need or what to do is relatively close in the area.
How to get to and from your hotel?
W15 offers transfers from the airport. The airport shuttle fee to the hotel is USD 135 per vehicle (one-way). Guests must contact the property in advance to make arrangements.
Trains run in all directions to get around the country of Sri Lanka. Its actually the most cheapest and effective way to travel along the country. Click on the train link schedule for times and locations around Sri Lanka.

Where to eat?
W15 has a tasteful restaurant on site. Your find international dishes and authentic Sri Lankan food from local curry to Italian spaghetti. W15 serves breakfest,lunch,and dinner. My favorite part about W15 is that they offer board games while you dine. Its a great way for your family to bond and entertain the kids. Normally, W15 has many events and parties throughout the week. So you might be lucky enough to catch the live DJ one of these days your here.
Hangten Rooftop Restaurant- A hostel hotel restaurant with the best coffee and American food with a killer sunset view.
Catamaran Restaurant- Sea food by the beach.
Chef Akila Kitchen- Tasty authentic Sri Lankan food! One of my favorite spots in to eat at in Weilgama! We literally ate here our whole stay! Try the Roti with curry! They make it the best!
Baba's Roty Shop & Restaurant- Authentic Sri Lankan food!
Thambily Thambily Restaurant- Yummy typical Sri Lankan food.
Tiki Clifftop- Great for a night out with a live DJ. Here you'll find affordable drinks and local food. Tiki Clifftop bar is located directly across from Chef Akila Kitchen.
Things to do close by?
Yala Safari- Yala is a 2 hour drive from Weilgama. Yala Safaris tours start at $36-50USD depending on the time of day you visit and breakfast/lunch options. W15 will set up a transportation shuttle upon request with a fee if your in need of a ride.
