Hotel Albus. Amsterdam, Netherlands.

The stay at Hotel Albus?

Hotel Albus is as vibrant as Amsterdam truly is. Judging just from the décor, it's a fun and sexy place to stay!

Located right outside the Albus, you'll find pretty much everything you're looking for in the vicinity. Bars, coffee shops, museums, clubs, great dining restaurants, canals, trams lines, bike rentals, or a short walk to Rembrandt's for lots of shopping! There are a lot of options when staying at The Albus. If you don't know where to head, ask the front desk staff. They have a bunch of great references or directions to where you want to go as well as offering a free trams line map of Amsterdam. The front desk staff couldn't have been more helpful and caring! They just want you to have a wonderful stay in Amsterdam and make sure you have everything you need to do that!

We stayed in the family suite with the sofa bed. The room was VERY spacious and our daughter had plenty of room to run around! Something she surely needed after all the flights we took in Europe! The suite offers two bathrooms with showers and one with an all-white standing tub. One amazing amenity we really loved is that The Albus offers a FREE travel buddy smartphone! This definitely came in handy when we were exploring the city of Amsterdam. We could easily locate directions when our phones didn't work without wifi. You're also allowed unlimited international calls and text from the travel buddy phone! How cool is that?! Not many hotels accommodate free international calls or a free smartphone. The Albus also supplied the room with a free a coffee making machine, bathrobes, slippers, flat screen TV, desk, and toiletries. The only item that's not free in the room is an awesome Heineken dispenser! You have to pay 10 Euros for each refill but it's sure worth the money and will save you some cash rather than going to an outside bar!

Staying at The Albus sure felt like home. When we return to Amsterdam, we would gladly return to The Albus. It's great for families and young adults and I recommend staying here for the convenience of getting around and the hotel's positive vibes.
