The stay at Novotel?

Staying at Notovel was one of the best family-friendly hotels we stayed at in a long time! Normally, while traveling we like to stay at smaller intimate hotels. Even though Notovel is a resort it wasn't overcrowded like most other we've been to. Our guest rooms were spacious and big enough to move around with our family of four. We enjoyed waking up every morning on the balcony of our pool room view. The Amenities were also a plus! Most of our days we enjoyed our self at the beach pool. There our kids could play in the sand and clear waters in the kiddie pool. For us adults, we just enjoyed the swim-up bar and relaxed on the bean bags in the water.

Checking in was a breeze and the staff were super friendly & personable. They made us feel at home and were more than attentive. Upon arrival we were given a complimentary map to locate things we wanted to do/see close by. We also took full advantage of the concierge services. We had a full break down of the tours that were offered in Cairns. Once we decided what we wanted to experience in Cairns beyond the hotel, the concierges took care of the rest and set us up with our tickets!

The food at Novotel was outstanding! I loved every moment of eating in Notovel, which is also a first! The breakfast buffet had many options to choose from with our little picky eater. Myself, I just enjoyed the self pancake maker and fresh fruit. My husband enjoyed the special deal of the day on the menu at dinner time. It gave him a chance to try the yummy foods at a discounted price daily! If you are visiting on a Thursday, he recommends trying the brisket! Not only is it discounted but your going to want to put your order in for the next day again!

The Notovel is a perfect stay for families and anyone that just needs to unwind! Novotel Cairns is conveniently located near the heart of center city and minutes walking distance from an ocean view. You won’t regret it!

Muddy’s playground- Located about an 8-10 minute from the hotel. This public park has a variety of slides, water sprinklers, and a jungle gym for the kids. For adults and young teens, you’ll find a tennis court, skatepark, a beachfront boardwalk, beach volleyball, & designated work out equipment along the boardwalk of the Esplanade.
Numerous tours go out to the Great Barrier Reef, the Daintree Rainforest, and the hinterland from Cairns.
