Black Taxis- are very expensive but they get you where you need to be. Just be careful going long distance or rush hour. After 8pm fares raise. You can simplely just hail a black cab in the street.

Uber- Uber is available in London and slightly a little cheaper than the Black taxis! Anytime we needed to take a taxi, we took an Uber or a black taxi to save some extra changes. The only issue we had while using the Uber is that you have to have to be on Wifi for app to work and order a taxi. Normally, we would take a taxi to go out to eat, which was convenient because most resturants have wifi.
