The Stay at Sunbreeze Hotel?
Sunbreeze Hotel & Suites is the perfect place to soak up the sun on their beachfront location.
To clarify, Sunbreeze Hotel & Sunbreeze Suites are the same owners but two different hotels. They are located about 7 minutes away from each other. Both are in a centralized location and walkable to everything.
Both the Hotel & Suites is suitable for solo & family travelers. The only difference is that the Sunbreeze Hotel pool is more ideal for families with kids because there is a shallow end where kids can stand to play. The Sunbreeze Suites pool would perhaps be better for the older kids that know how to swim on the deeper end.
Both hotel rooms are super spacious with comfortable bedding. The only difference between the rooms is that the Sunbreeze Suites full-size feels more like a home away from home. It gives this feeling because the resort rooms are equipped with furniture and a full-size kitchen with everything you'll need if you were staying long term.
Every morning I would enjoy the sunrise from the ocean dock at the hotel & resort. It was such a serenity feeling. You can't beat the views from the Sunbreeze's properties.
A dive shop is onsite at Sunbreeze Hotel which made it super easy to scuba dive and I didn't have to wake up any earlier for the excursion.
Before arriving to the San Perdo you can fill out an advance check-in form with your flight information for a bell hop staff that can help you with your luggage across the street to the hotel or get in a taxi.
Check-in & out was a breeze. The staff was attentive & made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.
If you're looking to relax, I recommend sunbathing at the Sunbreeze properties when traveling to San Perdro, Belize.
Location?
Sunbreeze Hotel & Suites are located in the center city of San Perdo. Both are located on the beach in an area with great airport proximity, restaurants, bars, and shopping. Everything you need is located nearby within walking distance. You won't have to rent a golf cart for your stay unless you want to explore the outskirts of the island. A water taxi is also within walking distance. If you choose to take a day trip to Caye Caulker you will want to stay here.
How to get to Sunbreeze Hotel & Suites?
If you're flying into Belize City then you'll either need to catch the ferry or a small plane to San Pedro island. You can catch a water ferry by the airport or you can choose to fly with Maya Air or Tropic air. A ferry ride will take you about 1 hour 30+ min and a flight will only take about 13 mins to reach San Perdo.
I recommend flying. The flight is affordable and fast! You'll get to experience epic views from above and even the chance to sit in the cockpit next to the pilot!
When you arrive at the San Perdo Airport, Sunbreeze is directly across from the airport. You can find a bell hopper from the hotel to greet you outside to help you with your bags or you can walk across the street yourself.
Sunbreeze Suites is only about a 5-7min Drive from the airport or a 10min walk!
Blue Water Grill at the Sunbreeze Hotel
Blue Water Grill located on-site is one of my favorite restaurants on the island. Even when I wasn't staying here, I would dine at Blue Water Grill. The restaurant and pool bar serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. My favorite dish is the boneless stuffed chicken breast with sun-dried tomatoes, smoked ham, sweet basil, and feta cheese served with pesto whipped potatoes and an artichoke, tomato and roasted garlic. More favorites are the coconut shrimp stick, caribbean spice chicken, pork dumplings, huevos ranchers(breakfast), and the key lime pie! Blue Water Grill drinks were also spectacular. I even met guest from nearby hotels that would stop by just to drink at the bar because they thought so too!

Jambel Jerk Pit Restaurant at Sun Breeze Suites.
If you're looking for a favorite local caribbean dish then you'll love Jambels Jerk Pit restaurant at The Resort. The menu is full of fresh fruits & juices, and flavorful foods. My favorite dish is the oxtail stew! I'm obsessed! For breakfast the huevos ranchers are delicious. In the morning time, I would order freshly squeezed juices and sit on the dock on the ocean watching the sunrise.
