The stay at TreeCasa?

If spending the night in a treehouse is on your bucket list, then you need to experience TreeCasa. From waking up on a hammock to the sounds of wild birds & howler monkeys to the luxury of having a whole private beach to yourself. I never felt so much at peace having a retreat in the trees.

Checking in & out was a breeze. We were offered a tour around the property & the staff informed us of the daily events at the resort. The staff we're friendly & catered to all needs to the very end of the stay.

All the activities at the resort are interactive & enjoyable to spend time with the family without even having to leave the resort. I was surprised at how many activities & events are offered at TreeCasa. TreeCasa offers FREE salsa classes on Mondays, horseback riding, yoga, garden tours, 2 outdoor pools, foosball table, massages, a library & more. There is no beach located on the property of TreeCasa but they offer a FREE shuttle to a PRIVATE beach only 10 minutes away. We enjoyed the private scenic beach to ourselves than the local beach downtown San Juan del Sur.

Our Treehouse that was nested in the hills was very spacious with two rooms & a balcony with chairs, a table, and a hammock. The space was suitable for our family of 3 to run around & stretch. We also had a pull-out sofa which was nice & comfortable for the kids to have their own bed.

If you're looking for seclusion, I recommended unwinding at TreeCasa. The resort is an ideal getaway for families & solo travelers. By far this was our most enjoyable stay in Nicaragua!

Location?

TreeCasa is located in the town of San Juan del Sur a beautiful fishing village, that's a magnet for surfers, sunbathers, & anyone looking to escape to untouched areas. The resort is tucked away in the forest away from pretty much everything but you'll find everything you need on the resort you'll need as far as entertainment, activities, & food. If you ever want to leave to go to the main town a shuttle is offered every few hours, so you'll be far enough from the city life but close enough to experience local life.

Sur Juan del Sur is located two hours away by car from Managua but this town is worth the journey. I recommend extending your visit if you do chose to travel from a far. We stayed 5 days at TreeCasa & the travel time didn't bother us a bit. If you're looking to explore more nearby countries, you can choose to cross the board of Costa Rica, only about an hour away, where you can choose to fly in or out of back home!

How to get to and from your hotel?

TreeCasa offers a FREE beach shuttle from the property. There is also a shuttle offered every hour that runs in & out of town to Sur Juan del Sur. A 24-hour roundtrip airport shuttle is available on request for an extra surcharge.

Where to eat?

TreeCasa restaurant offers an extensive food menu(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner/Dessert) for the foodies that are picky eaters, love sweets, meat eaters, & vegan lovers. Anything I ordered from the menu I completely loved! Even the vegan menu! All the greens & fruits are freshly picked from TreeCasa's garden only steps away! Do I need to mention the wood-fired brick oven pizza? TreeCasa brings the authentic taste of pizza to the resort!

Normally, I get tired of eating resort food but not here at TreeCasa. We looked forward to trying all the dish from the menu for every meal at the resort. The bar also offers mouthfeel drinks that I enjoyed drinking by the pool. The best part is that TreeCasa has happy hour from 3-6pm so you can enjoy a 2 for 1 price!
